    those nissan motors come from a long lineage of turbo, for example... SSS pulsar has a sr20 non-turbo and a silvia has a sr20det turbo, thus making the n/a turbo'd the motor is kinda already made for it

    honda make ther motors for one purpose - N/A

    i dont like the idea of boosting and hitting vtec at the same time... juss wouldnt be right, everyone that iv known to have a turbo honda's motor hasnt lasted very long at all or they have had serious comlication =/

    im not a big fan lol

    Vtec + turbo makes huge power. Don't forget the idea behind vtec is to give better response and power in low and high rev ranges, unlike non vtec, where there is a compromise toward low end power. So with the better flow properties of vtec, if you add a turbo you have a monster, 500+HP from 1.8L is possible, Signal Japan have done it years ago. Careful tuning is required.

    turbo came and went..
    Had the turbo on my B18c for bout 3months..
    Had heat issues with it so i took it all off..
    Back to N/A now
    Nissan S15: 12.6@113mph
    Integra GSi: 15.1@91mph
    Civic B18c N/A : 14.1@98mph
    CRX B18c N/A : 13.9@101mph
