HEY PEOPLES do i need to get another resonator if i put a new exhaust system into it?

was quoted $180 resi-back (waste of time) or $320 Cat back with new resonator (maybe $50 more for mandrel bending) i was thinking is that worth it? should i buy my own resonator help me out ^_^

or would the exhaust place have a better resonator that those ones?? exhausttechnology in adelaide.

dont know how it increased that much because there is only like 8 inches between the resi and the cat...weirdness im sure a resinator doesnt cost $200

No... resis only cost about $30-40... however ~300 is about right for a custom catback if you're getting mild steel

It would be interesting to see whether there is any power increase if you just put straight pipe out of the resi and no tail muffler

yeah well im not going to get mandrel bent system no more. a lot of places said that it is a bit of a waste of money...so yeah.
ahh wells save myself $100

getting 2.25 cat back with new resi and a magnaflow muff.
