Is it true in Indo they will fine people with HID, rides height, tint? I don't think they would.. maybe in other aspect like number plate (model change), car capacity (number of person inside car), and road rules..

I'm with Just Car insurance, and they cover my HID... just go with them if you want to insure your mod car

been running HID's (4300k's) in my sport for a year now.

Recently had a P plater hit me and damage the headlight housing and HID light and Ballast. This was all replaced under insurance without a blink.

Check other posts ive put up pics of the Civic with HID's and the cutoff is good with NO glare.

Are we still talking about 2006/2007 Honda civic ? I looked at the head light assembly and its looks like its projector or I could be wrong. As for previous models not really interested.

Has anyone with the latest shape civic put one on?

06/07 Model Civic DO NOT have projectors. They are reflector units.

They are however designed to handle HID's as the Jap spec models use the same housing with HID only that some have auto levelers and or washers.

Reflectors made for Halogen and HID's are not the same, even if it appears to be identical from a quick glance.
Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Thats right. the point source of light from HID and halogen globes are different so the reflectors are slightly different to cater for the different focal lengths..

doesnt matter... the units dont give off any glare unless youve installed the stupid 9000k jobs.
