When you say it likes to rev between 1500 and 2000Rpm. Do you mean thats approx where it stays level? Or do you mean it pulsates between 1500 and 2000, up and down ect.

now its warms up at 1,500rpm then

used 2 pulsate, now it sits anywhere between that rev range of 1,500 - 2,000rpm

start your car and let it completley warm up, now pull out the plug for the coolent temp sensor. the 2 wire one underneath your vtec solenoid. does the idle drop down?

i've got the same problem with my delsol, just recently

it use to pulsate up and down between 1500 and 2000, when warming up
but now, that stopped and pulsating around that, and started around 1000-200,
ie from cold start, revs at 2000, then slowly drops to 1000rpm, then starts to pulsate from 1000-200, almost like its gonna stall. but this all stops once the engine reaches operating temp

i've tried to clean out the IACV, and it didnt help

hey man, you should see my IACV... its completely farked ...

im at work atm... waiting for the other guy to come in so i can go to my car to get my usb cable 2 upload some pix...

i replaced my dizzy cap and spark leads and threw in some iridium plugs... runs slightly better... my spark plus were black as... off 2 a service next week... minimal driving... work and thats it...

i have the same problem as you crazy sol..

basically after like 20 seconds the idle doesnt hold high to warm up.. and instead bounces up and down..

will try to clean the iacv soon

dude if what im seeing is correct the bottom of your IACV has corrodedc away. and it is pooring collent strait into your intake??? wtf?

when you take off that plate it should be solid underneath so the fluid can resuculate. but thats all gone and it appears water would go directly into your intake .

have you been using alot of coolent latley????
