I'm looking at getting one soon too. At the moment, I'm looking at getting it from ClubRSX online store. They're approx. AU$550 shipped to your door. Still looking around though.

    Keep us posted!

Yeah but you will have to play 10% GST + other duty if it comes via freight/sea/air (which is how ClubRSX would ship) . Damn customs!! hehehe

Customs would not collect duty and/or GST where:
the value of the goods does not exceed $1000 for goods imported by post or $250 for goods imported air/sea cargo, other than by post; and the Customs duty and/or GST liability of the goods does not exceed $50.

If you can get a US supplier to send it via post(which may be possible) then you would pay no GST or duty!

p.s International postage on a bulky item would be expensive too..?

if the sender marks the item as a gift, worth $50 or something like that on the declaration, then it should pass through without incurring any taxes. Unless the item is very bulky and they open it up, then you should be safe.

I don't know much about importing other than what I have read on customs website, but isn't it ilegal to do stuff like that? How would you get the reseller to mark the item as a gift? Sounds a bit sus to me

Jeff (Tofu) is in the process of getting one from the US. AFAIK, it's on its way already. It should arrive within the next couple of weeks. He should know a bit more about it.
