I've seen a shitload of dc2r's run in various configurations, and i'm yet to see a stock dc2r run anywhere near a 13. I've never seen nor heard of this being accomplished before this thread.
    dc2r with i/h/e, bald street tyres - 13.94 @ 98.88, 2.143 60ft

    i managed to get 2.09 60ft but mis-shifted 2nd, otherwise i am quite confident i would have got a 13.7-8

near bald tyres might be better for the 1/4 than fresh new street tyres.

Dont take this the wrong way.....but
I believe that different tracks will have different outcomes being more sticky different atmosphere, etc.

Then y do ppl try to use it as an excuse for a slower time than they predicted???
If ppl arent happy with their times and think they can do better then dont post them till they have done the time they are after...

    what excuses have you heard?

its all about improving and practise. i only find it funny when ppl with loads of mods go out and do shit times when a stock car can do alomost the same times.

or ppl who mod and mod but never actually take it out there but sit behind their keyboard and think their car is capable of doing xx.xx time.

If u had read the 2 previous post u know what excuses im refering to..
    BALD TYRES...
    True its practice makes perfect!!!
but if u post your time and then say you could have done another time but blah blah blah,,
what is the point of posting it???
No one cares why u ran that,, all they care bout is the time u ran and the mods you have...
And if u managed a better time with ur stock car as compared to a moded one then doesnt that tell u something..
maybe it comes down to driver skill more than mods

My best run eve was with bald tyres, 14.7 as i said before, when I got new set of rubbers my best was 15.1 hehe was thinking I'll get into low 14s, but also could be due to very hot and humid wether when I did it.
