    No it won't. That is why I selected this knob. Instead of puny aluminium, this knob is made of stainless steel! So rings made from gold, silver, platinum and soft metals like aluminium won't scratch it at all.

    I like it but would want one with a shift pattern. Isn't a car unroadworthy without a shift pattern displayed in the car?

    Aaron how is the difference to the DC5R knob? Did you keep the little plastic ring that came with the DC5R knob that tidies up the boot?

    BTW hot heavy knob isnt good to hold.
