    Question air filter replacement

    itg filter or k and n?
    just replace standard filter or fit cold air system.Any one fiited one.
    Dont want to much noise

    hey marty! i would go k&n, only coz i recommend what I know (meaning i dont know much abt itg). but in terms of intake systems, have a look at the link below (have a bit of a read when u get time).

    im sure u'll learn a thing or 2 just from that article. with my accord, i replaced the stock filter with a panel k&n because i just didnt see the point of installng a pod with all that engine heat (too hot here in brissy, especially in summer!). unless if i get a heatshield, or go the CAI option (cold air intake) or replace my hood with another that has some sort of scoop that sucks in outside air.

    Thanks,I had the same thoughts.Didnt want excess noise or modified under bonnet look for minimal H.P.I have got noticably better throttle response on other vehicles {4wd} fitted with uni filters

    Couldnt get k/n to suit my car.Ordered an ITG 3 stage foam replacement.
    Expensive but i,ll try it out.Supposed to filter better and flow more than k and n
