Picking up HONDA soon What to look out for??

Just wanted to know when my fiancé picks up her new Black Honda civic VTI with roof and leather what I should check... From reading these forums I know of a few e.g.

Check if all doors shut without slamming hard
Check dashboard around A-pillar for big gaps.
Make sure boot has lining and hinge cover.
Both drivers and passenger windows
The obvious checking the paintwork for chips and imperfections

check the window tint (some dodgy work might be there)
if you have sunroof, then check will it leak or not
all of the lights of course

If you can, take a drive first and check if there's unusual noises that you can point out straight away to the dealer

I reckon .. this mite sound stupid.. but get the HOSE and put it on high pressure and aim at all windows including the sunroof and when done. open all the windows and check to see if water leaks inside.

Also, check the cluster to see if there's any tampering. Evidence such as loose gaps will show light from behind even when the lights arent turned on. This will mean that the cluster has been changed and the milage on it is not the real milage for the engine.

Sports maybe...unless the vti now comes with sunroof and leather has options

back to the topic...my front right has an unsual creaky sound going on speedbumps... not sure from where..suspension, bumper...

driver door handle..not smooth when opening..both inside and outside..

How much does the window tint cost for a new civic (rrp), I forgot to have this as one of the accessories and my car arrives in a months time. I am wondering if I should ask them for it or if it is fine getting it done else where for less cost (does the stereo arial get affected or anything else if it is not done by honda?).

The thing is Jordan sed his fiance picking up a CIVIC VTI, not Sports!!! And he sed it has roof and leather... any clarification on this one, Jordan?

^ thats why i said what the hell, lol. because if there is a sunroof option for fd1s im getting it ASAP lol

hey guys

yeah denot that’s correct, we got the sunroof and leather as extra options on the VTI. The only thing that you can not get on a VTI Civic from the options I asked for is the small lip boot spoiler that only comes on the hybrid and the side mirrors with the blinkers in them.

Dealer tint I was quoted $550, other places charge around the $250 mark.
