    rota slips

    Who manufactures rotaslips?

Do they have a website or a way of contact?

I'm looking at getting a few sets of wheels for the DC2R and bringing them in myself probably would work out cheaper than buying them here

I know they are knock-offs so won't be as light as the originals but still it would make sweet **** all difference to me

they make alot of replicas and as far as i know are manufactured in malaysia?

i don't think the issue is the weight, they are still pretty light. it's more of a build quality thing. i remember people posting pics of rims that just snapped, not sure if it was like 'spoom' or something or whether it was rota

    Rota are a quality wheel.

I looked in to it when I bought my slipstreams of them.

Rota wheels are manufactured in the Phillipines.

And depending who you buy them off, they will most likey be cheaper if you buy them off a Aussie dealer as they get them in bulk for a cheaper rate.

I bought mine of Driven (trader) when he was around and they were quite a bit cheaper than getting them directly from Rota.

I'm sure we could organize a group buy as I'm after 3 sets of wheels for the DC2R and maybe new wheels for the Civic and Accord

    So thats 5 sets already

    That's a bit rough

Communities such as this are all about helping one another... Group buy is a great example of people helping each other

the reason for no group buys is if someone gets ripped off, or even worse a large amount of people in a group buy get ripped off they come whinging to the mods

I'm sure we could arrange it to do it with one of the traders handling the cash...
