    Mod-chipped. Stupid, yeah?

    My car has been modchipped before I bought it, and vtec kicks in at 4500rpm.

    1. It's pointless/crap/too early
    2. Would I be using more fuel this way?
    3. I'm losing some of the vtec power, aren't I?

    Can 'yes' be answered to all the above?

    ps: yes, i'm getting rid of the mod-chip asap.
