By the look of it ... its a F22b1 bottom end ..
and a f22b2 top end .. is that possible?? to do that???

coz by the way the xtractors goes is F22b1 vtec engine .. but the head is f22b2 non vtec ...

WTF is that f20b prind doing there? and it doesnt look healthy either ..

    He got an F20b instead.

It wasn't written in small white pen; it's eteched.
i think he was after a f22b1 SOHC VTEC (standard cd5 vti/s engine)

dunno wat that thing he ended up with is but it aint a genuine f22b1 or f20b...

ok.sorry bout the lack of details.
ok i bought this engine from melbourne asked for a f22b engine.paid for it.got it home and install it myself.as jus about to put the last touches on i then realised it said f20b on the engine....
last night i was driving it and gave it some accel.and it jus took off way harder then the f22b motor did.wat should i do.should i keep this motor in or get a f22b.
the only reason i didnt realise the engine was because i have had my car for 1month and really wanted to drive it.but it seems to be running fine atm..

    is your accord a vti.

if so you have gone from VTEC to non Vtec.

If it goes harder and you like it then keep it. get a dyno run so you can see what power it is making. Also dont forget that your running a F22XX ECU on this engine, so if you get it dyno'd then also get an AFR print out to make sure its running ok.

if you hade a F22B1 then your ecu will get upset when hit VTEC as there is no VTEC.

    get it on a dyno.

if it feals like it goes harder to you then it might just be a better engine.

the F20B in the pic does look genuine. And I can see any cracks like the some one had mentioned.

get a dyno run and find out what it is doing. from what I remmeber the F22B3 ( what you had ) was pretty lame on the dyno 87kw or something

you might have a better engine !!! dyno it to find out.
