    that would be ok as long as your running a fuse on the power cable to the battery. i'd suggest that u get a distribution block with fuses just to be on the safe side. like what integraz said get the jaycar distrubition block their best value for money.

    from what i know... if u want to run power more that 400WRMS... u need to get at least 4 gauge wiring.. if not... then they would not sound on their maximum potential... but it's ur choice... it's gonna be alot more work if u wanna do it... but from what i think... do the hardwork and u'll going to really enjoy it later...

    theseven: so basicly wat ur saying is that my system will still work with an 8 gauge power cable from the battery with a fuse, but it will sound much better with a 4 gauge power cable from the battery with a fuse....am i right??

    yeh spot on dude....its becoz u get more power flowing thru in a 4 gauge than an 8 gauge, therefore more sound power....but none the less 8gauge from battery all the way to both amps will still do the job....just not as efficient, or as powerful
    VTEC = Say My Name!!!

    yeap... so what's the point ur buying a high voltage amp (expensive stufff!!!) if u don't want to use it to it's max potential??
