    03 civic stereo removal?

    hey guys, i got a 03 civic, how do i gain access to the stock headunit? i cant seem to pop the centre console out,, bcoz if i use any more force its gonna break

    there are 2 bolts holding the console.. you must undo the cigarette lighter/coin pocket console to gain access to those bolts. After undoing those bolts, you can help push out the console from inside. Try not to lose those clips into the dash or you will not see them again

    i took out the ashtray, coin pocket, and i see 2 screws in the end, i unscrew it, then wat do i do?

    undo the right one... and take the whole thing out

    after that you need to duck down to see the two bolts holding the stereo bracket. Undo those and then push the bracket out while pulling the panel out at the same time

    i took out the 2 screws i see at the back, then undo the top 2 screw to take out the bracket, aftet that i tried to pulll out the ciggy lighter console, but it wont come off? what else do i need to take the console out? i can see the 2 main bolts holding the headunit console but i cannot access it without taking the ahstray console out... help

    the lower console is held by another 4 clips, two on each side... just try to pry it out by grabbing the top left/right corner and pull it back.. dont forget to unplug the cig lighter connector and the ashtray bulb before you take the console out completely

    ok i got it out lol tanks after 2 weeks of tryin haha
    i undid the 2 main bolts , and its hard to pull it out.. any tips
