i wouldnt mind knowing about his aswell

or is camgears pretty much useless unless you have a full computer rather than safc/vafc? and more mods like cams?

or are cam gears worth investing in with i/h/e mods and safc11/vafc11

IMO you only need camgears if you have done alot of head work and shaved the head.

you can actually use them to fine tune the cars performance, and i'm asking for peopels who have used and have experience with minimal mods , like mine, i know they can be used to fine tune small mods without touching the head..........
so..........anyone with experience or the know of someone else, throw me some info.........

    Just like Edgeauto said.

Cam gears are more for fine tuning with the new cam set up and extended head work.

Cam gears let you advance your cam timing. I'm not sure what the stock B-series cam timing is, but in the k-series, torque is even across the rpm range due to the variable cam timing sprocket on the intake cam. Unfortunately with the cam gears, while you are able to adjust your cam timing, it is not variable as you are driving. Also, aftermarket cam gears are lighter than the stock cam sprockets, so you might free up a little bit of power in the same way a lighter flywheel does.

yeah it's tuned but i didn't do for it for the cam gear, I just happend to have a powerfc waiting to be installed. other ppl might tell you there are better mods and maybe they are right, but for the money it's not gonna make or break anything...

btw I just got the exhaust and intake...
