Rear Brake Pad Change on EG
Disclaimer: The following is provided as a GUIDE ONLY, and neither myself nor Ozhonda take any responsibility for the outcomes of someone else doing the following. You follow these steps at your own risk!
Aim:
To change the rear pads
Required:
jack
stands
12mm single hex socket
10mm socket
rachet (to suit the sockets obvisouly)
flat head big screw driver
rear pads
Step 1:
jack the car up

Step 2:
support on stands, on each side.

Step 3:
take off the cover via the 2 10mm bolts

Step 4:
undo the bolts on the caliper using the 12mm single hex socket, you use the single hex socket, to prevent rounding of the bolt. you should impact to loosen the bolts, so you hit the ratchet with the your palm, to crack it first, it helps not rounding the bolt. then slide off the caliper, and place it somewhere where it doesn't put stress on the lines

Step 5: take out the pads, and take off the shims off the old pads, which should come off easily, and put it on the new pad, put the pads back on the way you took it off. if you got genuine Honda pads, it would come with shims and grease, put the grease between the shims and the pads, and where the calipers and pads meet.
Step 6: screw the piston back in with the big screwdriver, it goes clockwise to go in, while doing this, make sure your brake fluid doesn't flood out of your reservoir, so if it's full, take some out, via a syhpon or whatever you want to use. lol

step 7: slide the caliper back on.
step 8: do everything in reverse order, repeat for the other side.

just a note, when using the screwdriver to twist the piston back inyou should do it slowly, very slowly and its also good to say turn it the opposite way.
what i mean is for every few twists to get the piston in, you should twist it out a lil bit. This is to not FF up the piston seals.
