    Front Jack Point

    Just making sure, need to know by 3.30

    Is the front jacking point on an EG/EH that flat OFF-CENTER plate around the radiator??

    yes it is off centre more to the passenger side of the car.

    What is the logic for that. It is the same with the ek's as well and it is so annoying. Its like how the jack points arnt wide enough on the side to jack the car up and slide a jack stand in at the same time

    I thought it was because of the weight distribution of the motor....

    Turns out its not cause the car ends up on a nice angle once she's pretty high lol.

    It shits me cause the jack stand on the drivers side gets under easily but the passenger side one is knockin on the side skirt.

    Gotta raise it up so that the drivers side one is about 2 times higher then the other....

    Kinda scary. Looks like the car is gonna slide out the garage.

    i got the same jack they use at the tyre shop so its good enough.

    Can lift 2400 kgs (car only weights 960 tho!!)

    Goes pretty high.

    yeh i hate that jacking point i jack my car up all the way untill the jack cant go up any higher and still i can only get the stands in if the pin is on the first hole, not high enough imo
