    compliance plates

    Where can I get compliance plates for a 94 Prelude in melbourne?
    What price am I looking at?

    As far as i know, the '94 prelude is not on the RAWS elligability (spelling?) list, because it is a locally sold car. So you might be SOL!

    Iv seen a VTIR Auto crusing in SA, but then again every state is different.
    check with your local road transport authority.

    Import laws are the same for all states i believe. The car you saw was most likely brought in as a personal import (own the car, and live in Japan for more than 1 yr). Speak to Geoff at PrestigeMotorsport; he might have a list of compliers.

    But when importing a car you need to have the compliance plate organised BEFORE it arrives in australia; otherwise they can crush your car... So i hope that puppy is still in Japan!
