um, yes it is a back yard job, to save money and i'm not finshed, its hard to do things D.I.Y when you work 6 days a week. and if you asked what else i had you would realise that it is worth over $3k, i've got a 2nd from the top of the range clarion head unit, 6.5 inch type s splits, 2x type S 12's, two big v12 amps and the bset wiring i could get down here. its just pissed me off when sum1 like me comes on here show off his ride and just because its more bling than most ppl here its not nice. i thought i've done a good effort considering i get $230 a week. and sorry to say if you don't like my car than don't comment or if you don't go baggin out chromies and sayin all this shit anout bling is shit. my mate on here H22a acorrd has bling and i'm more than sure he could out run most cars down here, considering his just did 0-100 in about 6 seconds.. sorry to get fired up but it just seems ppl here love to dis others for tryin.

like the rims are showy but then the rest of tha car is kinda standard if ya know what i mean.

Mate for a first year apprentice to come out with a ride like that it is good. I know how hard it is trying to mod a car on that wage and with those mods u have there i really respect u. I am also a minority on this forum about it isn't good unless it is jdm. Alot of people like myself can't afford jdm so they have to do with what they can afford. It is funny though coz 3 years ago the whole thing was about the "BLING" and i can gurantee that half the people saying that it isn't good unless it is jdm would have had bling on their cars and are only with the jdm croud because everybody else seems to be. Like it has been said each to their own and it is hard to have that thought when u have 30 guys telling u it isn't good because he has chrome rims. I like the car and i think it is a job well done and i know it is not finished yet.

btw people only diss to test...they want to see how much u can take!!! mate it shouldn't matter what others think of your car...you should be the one happy with it...but as soon as you start talking about $$$ people are always going to say it was not worth it...

i may not like chrome rims, but thats because i am too poor to ever be able to afford anything like that!

its on its way... I see it this way, you've got 2 choices... Dump it more and give it a lip kit OR, get a wideish kit... I'm not talking Gembel wide, but something fairly wide, but still tidy... dont want to much shit going on, otherwise you get lost in it and it looks gay... you want it to flow.

Get tint... you need tint :P

while your onto the chrome... get chrome mirrors.

yeah, i really wanna slam it to the rims make it look fat a f**k. i wanna try and stay away from kit, had one on my GTi, to much hassle tryin to kit it fittin rite, (i like things perfect). i'm gunna get the chrome m3 mirrors but i gotta other shit to get first.. i respect people opinions bout all the JDM shit but its not me. and no its far from finished, wouldn't mind goin for a bigger engine interior, but for now i'm quite happy with it.. as i keep sayin thanks for all the good comments....

Heres a thought;
If your spending all the money to satisfy you and your taste why get so upset when other people give their opinion. If you did everything to your car just to impress other people, especially peeps you don't even know then why are you spending the cash? Why don't you give them all the money and ask them to mod it for you......

i reckon u'v done a good job so far, rims dont look bad at all, everyones got there own taste, ive been through 3 sets of rims in the past year.............

i think you should lower it more though, dont need a kit...

Very sweet looking clean EK there dude. IMO a set of Lowenhart chrome or polished style rims would look alot better on it.

Those ones look very cheap/Tempe Tyres bro.
Also, removing that decal/sticker would reduce the tackiness factor by about 150%....IMO.

This forum is by no means a "JDM" (not that that term MEANS anything...but of course you had to define that too) haven, it's merely, IMO, a forum with a large percentage of members who possess GOOD TASTE. Many cars that I personally lust after do not have those "JDM" modifications you harp on about, yet I'm pretty damn sure you'll label me (and anyone who doesn't like ugly ****ing cars) a "JDM enthusiast".
