    So why would you take d/c the battery for 10 min if you can take the fuse out for 5 sec. Leaving your pwr window function, running properly, and not locking your radio/cd player, etc.

    If you want to reset the window function, there are instructions in your manual, you have to hold it down all the way then hold button halfway up all the way then let go and hold it all the way up for 5 sec if you done it properly you will feel a click

    If you know which fuse to pull, then yeah, pull it. But many people are not as technically-inclined, so it would be easier to tell them to pull off the negative terminal, rather than try to guess which fuse is for the ECU.
