    Unhappy vibration...

    if i can feel obvious vibration when brakin the car... wat u guys think the prob. could be???

    warped rotors...this happens from heating up your brakes, and then sitting at the lights with your foot on the brake pedal...the caliper clamps the rotor and squishes them out of shape as they cool down...

    some people say that you can half fix it heat them up in some twistys with lots of hard braking, and the action of them passing through the calipers while they are clamping the heated rotors sorta makes them even (ish) again. Otherwise you could just view this as a damn good excuse to get some nice slotted replacements

    sounded like a fun way to get things fix tho....slotted replacement...um... all i see is plenty of $ needed...

    If it's not badly warped... it can be machined flat again... I think it costs around 40 a disc....

    but i realised tath sometimes its not as obvious as other times... is there any other reason? or i just think too much?

    wheel bearings? does it make a humming noise as well?

    there isnt any obvious sound...i ll have to double check with that tmr... but if it happens to be wheel bearings... is that gonna cost a fortune?

    sounds like warped rotors, does it get worse as the rotors heat up ?

    if it were bearings, it would happen all the time, where as the original post says it happens when braking..

    doesnt get worst when heated... but sometimes its less noticeable dan other times... wierd??
