    Engine Mounts: Hasport vs Innovative

    Hey guys and girls,

I'm after some engine mounts for the car and need to choose between the following:

Hasport: 600 bucks, Polished housing, 62A or 70A Polyurathane insert (black)

Innovative: 500 bucks, Wrinkle Black housing, 65a Polyurathane insert (red) or 75A insert (black).

    Few questions:

How much vibration will come through if i'm usin a 62A urathane mount? Is it a crazy amount?

And its only at idle isn't it?? Once you get moving the vibration stops yeah?

Anyone had any experiences with either brand?

Comments welcome guys. Don't wanna be wastin my hard earned money here.

    Thanks in advance

    Jase

62a is more than enough to vibrate your dash on idle , you wont feel anything much once the car is rolling

Also, is it safe to run the car without the torque mounts once the three poly ones are installed??

The firewall mount will cause the most severe vibrations. I have done the other 3 on my CRX and even with a stock rubber bush still in the firewall, the vibration transfer is enough to rattle everything in the glove compartment and all the mirrors shudder violently hehe

That said, vibrations return to normal once you are above 1500rpm and you will feel a much smoother and faster response in power transfer both when accelerating and decelerating.

I got hasport 62a and 2 cusco solid torque mounts, honestly the vibration is not that bad. The cabin noise is a bit louder, more vibration is a definite but compared to say N+ coilover, they are much more friendlier to live with.

90a is pretty much solid... violently just sounded good :P it's only at the resonant frequency, pretty much... I couldn't care less about the CD cases clacking together. As far as I'm concerned, there are no downsides.3e4fr5f3dr5
