Mate i will tell u something...

When i bought ma pride and joy whom others considered a hunk of junk.
it had all the negatives that would make ur mates, folks and every1 in between to look and go what the hell u buy this for dude.

Let me begin to list the negatives (-) of buying a gen2 CRX

  • more than 20 years old
  • insurance will be high more rare than civic's
  • the dohc d-series found in AUSDM will be anywhere from 220k+ on the clock(big chance it will be blowing smoke)
  • boot struts dont hold the boot up
  • rubber seals for the driver's side window dont hold out the rain no more
  • a/c unit will be cracked but who cares right?
  • along with a whole lists of terrors which u might come across some common some not common
  • look im quite sure we could list 1001 things
but you know what.... if it makes you happy that's all that matters.Hey i dont like my day job but who cares. I own the car i love. You can own a 1000hp Supra, or how about a GTR 600kw beat me on down the 1/4. You can have a wrx, evo, or any other newer honda than the crx (EG, DC2R) take it on the twisties ... will i care or think twice of the decision made in owning a gen2.
Pffttt hardly.It dont matter.

What matters to me is i own a piece of honda history.
Which still amazingly has crx's appearing in car magz, car shows, track/drag days along with a whole host of car events.

Even if its not to share the lime light of the car scene.... just owning 1 is such a privillage.

If i were u dont expect too much for the 20year old ride and start either making a list and go about fixing em bit by bit to make it better.

I'll be glad to help if i can...
