1. where is the sound coming front (i.e. top strut mounts)
2. turning? straight? bumps
Once we have those, we should be able to further diagnose.
eg.
1. could be loose strut top nuts, springs could be clapping
2. could be sway bar endlinks not tight enough.
all i can say is its coming from the front. happens mostly when turning, on bumps and when i get in and out of the car. also seems to happen more frequently on colder days. i've brought it to a suspension specialist and had everything checked and further tightened but it was no use.
bowzer installed them for me. he took the rubber things off the top of the stock shocks and put it onto the teins. i've had it checked and made sure everything is tight. they're not new, bought them off someone else.
How long ago did you install the Tein. Do you get it new or use. Tein SS doesn't comes with pillowball upper mount, you have to use your stock uppermount. One thing is to check the lower part of the Tein shock it has a round collar to see if you put it all the way down to the collar of the stock lower shock mount. This will cause the sounds also. Another thing is there is also a gold metal upper seated mount that goes underneath the stock rubber uppermount make sure you have this install. I got mine install the first time and noise free after 1 1/2 years of service. So doublecheck everything.
