    Footrest peeled off!

Hi. My Euro's footrest (Auto trans) has peeled off because of a clear plastic floor mat I have. The mat somehow slid up and wedged itself between the footrest and the carpet. I didn't realise it was wedged up there until the footrest fell off because the floor mat is clear.

Is there some glue I can use to stick it back on?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean? Is it the same as the one I have? Do those footrest come with some adhesive like a sticker where you peel off the backing and stick on?

Try some contact glue.you apply it to both the back of the heel pad and the floor wait a few mins. and then push it into place.

Hi. I was thinking of doing the same with contact glue or superglue or something. But when I saw that the glue that Honda used left NO DAMAGE to the carpet, I wanted to use the same glue. Just wondering what glue Honda used.

Superglue wont work. You need something stronger such as Araldite Epoxy Resin (not recommended unless you want it permanent!), or some heavy duty 3M double sided sticky tape (removable)

Just get some automotive trim tape from bunnings/autobarn/repco. It's a slightly thicker version of doublesided take but much stronger.
