    New Filter For My K&N Typhoon CAI

    I happened to stop by this AutoBarn store while I was waiting for my friend and saw that K&N has an Extreme Series Filter.. somewhat for serious performance application so I decided to buy one install it in my CAI.. Anyway just to show you the difference between the filter that came with the CAI and the Xtreme Series one...


    I think the only difference is that there is an intake opening on the top bit of the filter... And too bad the DryCharger didn't fit the new filter

    Hey egSi, do you notice the dry charger that I was trying to explain to you? I guess it don't matter now that Nick says it don't fit. I will order one when the handbrake (GF) says I can. Hopefully not too far away Matty

    I got it like a month after the car was delivered to me....like 6 months ago I think... mmmmm

    I dunno about the performance.. Haven't drove the car after I did the changeover...:P

    yeah matt i figured that thing out, now. i can get em seperately but they dont fit the extreme one they prolly make some to fit, but yeah sorry but im just plain stupid. let me know when and where.....
