What makes you think I would even bother 'flaming' you back?
Also, I think you misunderstand me completely, my point is when you try to give 'real world' advice on this forum it is usually shot down by users whom insist on giving dreamworld internet advice, where everyone needs to have a K swap or toda parts....

hell mate, hehe i am completely against K swaps, and usually against brand name parts.
but that thread u neg repped me on, was about gaining the most from an already highly tuned engine. Not one that came from factory with restrictions.
when you think about it, R&D , testing, $$$ spent on manufacturing, design and quality on THAT particular car in question, you would get better gains than a factory pumping out parts purely for profit.

I wasnt just refering to you, it is wide spread throughout this forum
-
Then sincere apologies on my behalf. I misunderstood your intentions.

I know its off topic, but I just think its important for some of the less educated users to understand that the some best parts arnt always the most expensive... that some users on this site offer bias advice and are just in it to make money, IMO the RP system is used to promote this even more.

I do agree with you about the R&D and money spent developing products, however I think alot of ppl dont actually realise some of the 'brand' name parts are in fact mass produced items stamped with their own logo/brand name....

How do I know how many PQ points I have?
All you have to do is click on your User CP and browse down to the bottom of the page.
The number of points you have depends on the power of the user giving you the point(s). The more PQ points a user has, the larger the effect (that is, the number of points given) to the target user.
Who can use this system?
To avoid abuse, initially only moderators will be able to hand out PQ points. However once a user has received 50 PQ points, they are allowed to alter the rep of other users.
Note: Users with less than 50 PQ points can still click the icon however there will be no change to the score of the user who receives this hit. The reasoning being that you need to build up a decent PQ score before you can hand out points to someone else.
When/where to give PQ points?
Given that the system is to be used for knowledgable/technical/helpful posts, it is not to be used for posts made in the lounge or the Photoshop/Photography forum as these are off topic areas. By helpful we mean helpful to the thread starter or other users having questions relating to their Honda motor vehicle. It is not to be used for posts informing others how to use this website and/or its rules.
How do I know if someone gave me a Positive PQ point or a Negative PQ Point?
In your UserCP, if the little box next to the PQ point another user gave you is green then you got a positive PQ point. If the box is Red you got a negative PQ point. If the box is grey, then that user had no 'rep power' and hence no effect on your total number of PQ points.
