    SOL HID Replacement Bulbs

    Hey Guys,

Just went to Auto Joy yestersday to get some car care products, and realised that i could change my HID Bulb to a one more bluer.

It was $300.00, but since i knew the guy i got it for $180.00 and installed for free. The car looks nicer now, and much more bluer.

Just wondering the lights they put in were called SOL Replacement BULB
    8500K.

Has anyone heard of this brand, and are they any good. How long do they normally last for.

Havent heard of the brand b4. Generally the OEM HID globes can last up to the life time of the car approx 2500 to 3000 hours, its hard to tell with aftermarket kits.

Problem you have is the higher kelvin you go the light takes on a bluish colour and the vision isn't as good in rain or mist as the 4300k bulbs.

Never heard of the brand, but if you were looking to get a well known brand of HID kits, then i suggest u go for MTEC, i have them installed on my Low beam and my fog lights, both have a kelvin rating of 8000K.
