    Hitting VTEC....?

    Hi all,

    I understand what VTEC is and what it's for, but I'm confused by what peeps mean by 'hitting VTEC'

    nah i think its when they get in the Hi cam RPM range...

    hitting vtec y0 u mean ?

    vtec y0!

    basicly it means when ur car changes to the high cam 'vtec' and the engine starts 2 rev faster,louder... when vtec kicks in is when the cam changes over

    hope that makes sence...

    well same thing applies with vtec. when you see a vtec, you say "damn i'd hit that vtec!"
