Never had the low fuel light come on under 600km per tank and could easily better that figure any time.
Do you do alot of fwy driving then? I have a 06 VTi and struggle to achieve 400 km around town befreo the light comes on.
To achieve 600km's before the light comes and can only sound like to me fwy driving.
I have a friend who owns a civic hybrid and he tells me he gets about 700kms a tank. Your figures are not far from his ecomomy figures.

no freeway driving...about 60% rural back roads & 40% town. over 23,000 kms my average fuel consumption is exactly 7.048 liters per 100km
Been playing around with BP Ultimate. and got 9km/100l.
when I went back to supermarket caltex 91, the car felt sluggish and need a little more stick returning 9.54km/100l.
I would like to share with everyone my fuel consumption figures for the last 9 weeks. All of this on standard unleaded fuel from my local woolworths station. I dont believe i nurse the car, mostly the cruise control is set 3 or 4 kph above whatever the limit is. Once a week the car is redlined in 1st & 2nd to give it a good run.
