    are the RE001 rated same to ADVAN AD07, or lower or higher in term of sporting performance?

    They can be had for that money but only if you're in the trade or know someone. I just got a wholesale quote back for RE001s in 215/45/17s for $220each. You just need to know the right people. Working for a large group has it's perks. Throughout the group we have huge buying power. One of our service departments upsold tyres on 70 cars last week.

    I decided to go for the Micehlin Pilot Sports though on info from others. Right decision? Or does it even matter when talking these types of tyres? They're all pretty damn good.

    imo, the re001 outclass the advan ad07's.

    You can't put IMO and objective on the same topic. Opinions are always subjective.

    If you did objective comparisons by having both on your car before and found that the RE001s were better, then you don't have to say IMO. You TESTED and KNOW that the RE001s are better. Hehe.

    No, these are RE001. The STI and JDM CTR gets RE070. You must be confusing it with RE01R, which are a different tyre.

    lol. Correct . I said imo because others may have also tested both and may prefer the advans over the bridgestones.
