    power window problem

    ok i took off the door panel on the drivers side to replace the stock speakers with pioneers.

    that was all ok. but thwn i put everything back together the "Auto" function for the drivers side wont work.

    ie. the drivers side power window switch is a 2 stage switch, when working properly u push it down a litle bit and the window will start to lower, but take ur finger off and it will stop.

    where as if u push the button all the way down, and take ur finger off, the window should "Auto" all the way down.

    the window still goes up and down, but wont auto.

    any ideas ? a fuse maybe?

    (yes the plug for the controls is pushed in properly)

    Did you disconnect the battery when you changed the speakers?

    On the newer honda's, the Auto-Window function needs to be reset after the battery is disconnected, or if the Electric Window module loses power by disconnection or fuse removal.

    To reset it;

    1) Start the engine
    2) Push down on the drivers window switch until the window is completely open.
    3) Pull up the switch and close the window completely, and hold it there for an additional 2 seconds.

    It should now be reset, unless there is another problem with it.
