Stock seat wieghts?

hey does any one know how much the stock seats weight is in a ej8 i assume they be the same as an ek?

arent they somewhere in the 20-40kg mark?
i think you can get some carbon fibre ones or recaros that weigh 5-15kg if you're looking for a weight drop.

not so much looking for a huge drop in wieght but a small amount be cool. Just lookin at a jdm site and the seats advertised arent brand name but look real nice and are 50 lbs not sure if thats for the pair.

50 pounds should be for the pair.

Stock weights are around 20 kg's i believe

you can get some that are around 10 and i've seen some as light as 6 kg's.

the weight of your standard seat is around 16-18kg with rails.
there are some CF seats out there that weight as much as 2.4kg.

the only thing you gotta worry about is whether or not you can live with a seat as hard as carbon fibre. because its less cushiony, more of the car's 'feel' will be channeled and amped thru your seat.

yeah i am not going to be spending more then 500 a seat. I dont have the money to spend more then that on a seat . The JDM stlye ones i am lookin at are 50lbs for a set and are 200 buks so why not thanks for the help guys
