Rear lights question

Hey guys,
much appreciated if u could answer my Q
I noticed that some integra's in the rear lights have a read light on the side that lights up?
I don't think I have this? I've only got the usual big breaking one in the middle.
Anywhos, I installed some of the ones with the clear reverse part. Does this have the side light ability? Did I not connect something?

I haven't noticed this before, but it could be Type-R? Maybe they are aftermarket lights? as I know the 98+ did not change the taillights.

nah i think ur mistaking it for the usdm or aftermarket ones, all stock ausdm ones only light up in the middle of the lights
