    power window

    Hi guys

    I just got a power window problem on my dc2r, just wondering is it the switch problem.

    Well, its on the driver side power window, when i push the window all the way down with the automatic switch, it won't go back up, i have to press it a few times before it goes back up.

    Another time, i couldn't open the window down, but only happened once.

    Has anyone has this problem before?

    Just wondering is it the switch problems.

    have you tryed opening up the side pannels and check if the wires could have been moulded, which looses its connetion with the power suroundings;

    you might want to ask for quotes first, how much different are they.
    if the second hand is not in good condition, I prefer the new one, save time in the future.

    if you are handy with opening things up i would suggest you do so, i have done it many times and you will find your problem is that the contacts have sparked on eachother so many times that it has left behind a build-up of non conductive powder, if you rub it a little with some sandpaper and put it back together it will be all sweet.
    thanks
