i am now up to 11 consecutive weeks of registering under 7L/100km, so i got the calculator out today and came up with the following figures. This is my overall fuel consumption since i got the car....these figures have been double & tripple checked.......24,268kms, total fuel used = 1703.49 lts. to me a remarkable set of figures

i get roughly around 510 - 550 out of about 37L's -> 38L's tank. i used to get up to and over the 600 km mark but my car has been under water in the newcastle floods and we are still using the original, flood damaged sensors.

when a few hills runs are done this drops down to about 450km.

best L/100km ive had was 5.9L/100km that was a double demrit weekend so i was driving VERY VERY softly. and not loading the car up to much. 4th gear 60km/h everywhere.

with a few changes in the sensors and ignition, i hope to get back up to around the 600km a tank.

oh and my fuel light doesnt work...hmmmm

Still waiting for my new civic to come

just refilled and did 400km (i always refill religiously at this km) and i got about 28L . I think i am forcing 5th gear too much and car has too work harder and burn more fuel, i swear i was way more using 4th gear before.
