i didn't get a chance to dyno my car stock! although yeh from what i can see average is 105-110kw ALTHOUGH it really does matter where you get it dynoed..

i did mine on bels garage which i got 120kw atw with BC headers, cuistom cat, rm01a catback and gruppem intake

he got i/h/e which 18kw is a reasonable difference right? with a kpro that should boost an extra 10-20kw?

cause mine was dynoed at 116kw when it was stock.

that and they have a claimed 147KW from the factory... so a 20-25kw drivetrain loss (being FWD) is quiet reasonable.

But yes... dyno would also matter... but for argument sake i just stuck with 115-120kw.

If he got a ECU you would expect the power to go up to around the mid to high 140's... so only a 10-15kw gain... but the power would be across the entire power band... not just around the top end, so at the end of the day would make the most of the mods already performed.

P.S. i day my car got dyno's (at a all honda dyo day) there was several other DC5r's... and they where running around the figure they "should" have been getting with the mods they had done.

It is really pointless comparing dyno figures from different dynos from different days. The most important is looking at the lines on your graph which is atm looking good.

I was at the 2007 Perth autosalon bout a month ago and all the dc5 type R stock but with injen intake were getting 110-118kw at the wheels. Yeh so I guess thats da sorta power u can squeeze from the stock Rs.

strange...your car should be making atleast 145+ kws atws.

look at all those stock k20 EG's with similar mods.

are you thinking about the blue DC5R's?

first one was stock but with GruppeM intake, it did 111kw
and mine (on sunday) did 122kw with GruppeM & FGK Powergetter.

mine had previously done 107kw completely stock.

    again weird.

i wonder how people with eg's who transplant a completly stock k20 in and pump out 140kws-ish atw on the dyno....

must be the lighter chassis on the dyno thats juicing that extra 40kws
