but it doesnt change the fact that a tuned dc5r makes less power
than a tuned eg k20 on the dyno..........right..
are you comparing jdm k20's to audm k20's?
    And so it begins...

However.. cams + ecu im lookin at 150 kw
adams egk20 ran a 13.9 with the stock ecu, and 12.7 after dave fiddled with the tune. with stock cams...
blows the cam theory out of the water hey

i assume most of the eg swaps are with jdm k20s therefore im comparing it with jdm dc5rs

Ahh Is the Engine a AU K20 from a R or From an S because the S has the JDM Type R CAms = more agressive cams,

most EG swaps have aftermarket ECUs..

the dc5's you are comparing it too have standard bolt ons i/h/c with no ecu YET>. unlesss u can specify whos dc5 u comparing the outputs too?

theres some dc5R's whos hit 170kwatw.. from memory.. he posted it on all motors before.. although he did quite abit

Well my DC5R had simple add-on I/H/E without any ecu or tuning so I'm sure it would make quite a bit more (20-25 kw) if I did

And I think ur talkin bout a JDM K20 (as noted by a few otha ppl)...
