my car sounds like a rexy...normally idles about 1100 but now it drops to 500...

i come to a stop and exhaust smoke is thick...burning oil obviously...

and the water temp goes above halfway...but my coolant level hasn't changed...

its piston ring my car do the samething but only SMOKE on high RPM

the wrex sound should be gone after awhile.. but den the engine is screwed up.. either u rebuild ur engine / recondition or just get a new engine with lower milage..

CHECK your sparkies.. if they are dipped on oil or oil arround it..
Fuel consumption is getting worst and worst.. den ur car should retired.

symptoms :
hard start when the engine cold
black smoke come out when u start the car
running on few cylinders when u start ur car.. until it revs up and all normal..

gaskets cost like 12bucks from supercheap they're only the gasket that sits between the rocker cover and the block.

the Head is what is expensive!
