the PQ system shows that a poster knows wat he/she is talkin about.....so wen they do post, every1 knows instantly that wat the poster is saying is most likely right or true or on the right track

and the pq just adds to the point of view, therefore a popularity thing.

no system is perfect

in this case it sorts out certain members who really know their stuff

eg, ben, ecu-man, aaron, claymore, tripikata etc etc

worked really well for a while

a few ppl ***ed it up for every1 else, and it was shutdown

i don't think regular members need a pq system to work out the above mentioned members have a good knowledge of Honda's.

PQ boxes isnt a knowledge metre Bludger,
Its an indicator for newer users, thats shows who's contributed or helped out around the forums the most in the areas that count.

Its all a popularity competition.

I find myself getting repped by certain people and never repped by people with 'lots of green blocks' because my post is not worthy of their powerful 20 blocks or whatever they hand out. A helpful post is a helpful post.
