    S2K to a RX8

    Hi guys i have had my s2k for 2yrs now and iam looking at selling it and buying a RX8, lot of my friends are saying this is more like a downgrade for me what do all u s2k owners think? is it a down grade?

    has any of u had a rx8 or move form s2k to rx8??

    what do u guys think?? any comments??

    even i used accord euro, i would say yes is downgrade.RX 8 stock is not that fast compare to S2000 stock.

    Rx8 uses 3 times more petrol than a S2k, plus its slow and it has no vt@k yO!

    Yes it is a downgrade.

    rx8 have the similar power output from factory compared to a honda s2000.. drinks more petrol.. dosent look as hot.. dosent have a soft top.. and not as pimp.. and lastly like DUST said NO VTEC YO!

    lol.... half the ppl here only cares abt VTAK....

    but IMO s2k is more dun to drive with ... driven both car once... but i vote for s2k

    Rx-8 isn't much of a downgrade, you are comparing 2 different cars.
    RX-8 drives similar to s2k, but it has more practicality too.

    once the novelty of the rear doors wears off, i think you just find the fact that you have to open your door to let the passenger out annoying.

    i don't know about you, i don't get bored of the convertible roof though.

    I really like the dynamics of the s2000, in standard trim, the s2000 is a great well balanced, well made, easily maintained, economic, attractive and flexible car.
    I think you might just need a break from the car, and to get into another shitbox (like a GTiR), and get things back into perspective before restitution.

    the rx-8 hands down easily drinks _much_ more petrol then an s2000.

    how's the insurance comparison though?
