as a owner of both model, i would say both of it got it's advantage
like s2k no doubt it's fun, smaller ,easier handling, and the unbeatable ROOF~~~

in the same way i also love my sister's rx8, quiet, comfort, drive like a luxury car, and when u hv certain of exterior options, it's easy to stand out in the crown, mine one have a aftermarket madzaspeed wing added and full madza factory outlook options and aftermarket pearl white repray, so far i received none of bads but gds.
but one thing i have to admit is the performance, coz mine is auto, poor gear ratio( 4 gear auto) less power(-30hp to manual).......what a waste...

the looks: both gd i recon

    performance:
    rx8: manual is a MUST
s2k: a truly potential car to play with

conculsion is if u r simply a lazy ppl like me u probably love rx8, it gives more button to play with inside the car, u can turn your track and music without opening the radio door...(truly a advantage for me)

Im not to sure what you intend to gain by puting this question to a Honda community. Im sure u'd get an equally opposed viewpoint from an RX8 forum. Test drive both and make ure own mind up.

S2k feels like a go-kart. The RX-8 does not. The RX-8 is much easier to live with as a daily driver, but more expensive fuel consumption-wise.

    EDIT: Oops. Wrong thread.

I guess I'll put something constructive here.

Don't take our word for it. Go test drive the RX8 and see how it compares to your S2000. As someone said, what do you expect a Honda forum to say when comparing a Honda to another similar car?

Do what ever makes you happy mate.

If you need the 4 seats go for it. They look pretty cool at least but to me i would keep the S2K they are more fun
