the front/back bumpers and the grill are slightly different that's all i've noticed, it should be possible to swap bumbers between the 2 models. just ring a panel beater and ask.

there are a few difference, most are cosmetic that you can see, the bumpers appear to the same But I cant say %100 that their the same, the 96/97 is OBDII so it has an immobiliser, the interior cloth is different, SRS as Standard, Kenwood Stereo, so it suites the 10 stack cd stacker, Different generation of ABS on cars equipped with ABS. thats all I can remember for now.

the rear bumper is different, i'm sure of that, because the bootlid is slightly different. The front bumpers should be interchangeable

The early '96 shape accords are OBD1 though, i happen to have one of them

thats what i thought too man, ordered OBD2 -> Obd1 conversion harness and everything...but turned out to be OBD1 when i got to the ECU.

Apparently the first batch were still OBD1, some yanks had found the same thing

    wow.

so you dont have the immobiliser with a transponder in the key either. must of been a very short run of production. Did you have the POA ECU?

yep P0A, with no immobiliser...i'm guessing it was a short run of the old electrics with new exterior or something

yeah I guess they got to get rid of the parts somehow, is your stereo the Kenwood type compared to the Alpine, eg 10 stack not 6 stack capable.
