    help with turbo's

    iv been readding around the site and found most people use the gt28rs turbo for the b18 motor and thay can make around 135-140kw at 8psi, is this right?

    also im looking at what turbo would be good for my car setup im looking to get around 140kw atw and i would like to be at full boot at around 4000rpm. now im just researching now and not looking to buy. but this is the turbo im looking at http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...R_705330_2.htm

    got a friend who runs the GT28RS, quick spool and u'll definately hit full boost a tad before 4k maybe in the 3.5k zone. i hit full boost at 4k with a bush bearing turbo (T3).
    umm 140kw @ 8psi with tune .. hmmm i reckon you could get that...maybe 10psi would be better :P

    GT2871r.... they haveresonable size whilst spooling up fast..... they cost a couple of hundred dollars more (bout $250 i think) but they are worth the money.

    140kw at 8 psi is doable with a good tune

    thanks for the help ppl im also looking for a fuel pump but not an inline one im looking for one that replaces the old i hear there more reliable if you have one that is recommended plz post up would really like the help

    the cheapes iv seen is like 1k for garret brand and ebay has them brand you for $1300 so wtf am i looking in the wrong place or did you mean 2500 lol

    Good choice...
    Use GT2876R with 0.64 A/R turnine housing.
    You should achieve the power & response you're after quite easily.
    The issue you will encounter if the turbo is fitted to an off the shelf low mount manifold will be compressor cover clearance.
    Some material may need to be removed from the block webbing to allow good fitment.

    ok sounds good i thought i might need to cut somthing out but wasnt shore also im going for a walbro in-tank pump linky now if anyone knows where i can get this turbo.... for a good price (cash is allways good )

    yeah im currently using a walbro intank pump
    i cant hear it
    my friend complains its a tad noisy in his car
    but maybe cos he has no back seats
