Cheaper alternative to FN2 R accent lighting set DIY

Use small neons or ccfl tubes
Get the electricity from the glove box light so that the neons are on when the headlights are turn on. Everything cost me $25. $20 for the neons and $5 for a roll of cable much cheaper than what honda offer. These ccfl tubes are brighter than neon so i just get a small one. Even now i think they are too bright, might make a cover to block some of the light

Take off the glove box door

Take off the light using small screw driver covered in cloth so it doesnt scratch anything and pull it out, connect the wires for the neons in parallel with the light

    Crappy picture of wiring diagram

Pull the cable through the side panel and move the cable down. This side panel just Clip off, no screws

Intall the neon on the passenger side using 3m 2 sided sticky tape. Since i got a ccfl tube they have their own small resistor for one tube so i sticked this behind the neon as well

Pull the cable to the other side through the middle (under the handbrake. You need to open up four screws, two on each side to lift the whole storage place up, install neon on driver side

Wait till night and look at your 2 hours worth of work! and enjoy!
