[melb] Pre meet for calder park 1/4 mile street drags 26/10/07

hey guys,
Like i have mentioned in my other thread, i will be heading out to calder park street meet on friday 26/10/07 to try and better my 1/4 mile times in my dc2r.
i will be arranging a small pre meet at western ring rd maccas out bound (towards calder) at about 4:30pm and leaving at 5:30pm SHARP........
Weather permitting, it should be a good night for racing.........
hope to see as many honda's out there as posible.....even if your not racing, just come an cheer/support a honda brother ................

so far so good, looks like we might have a few more honda's than i expected............that are willing to put the times down and show some others out there that we aint just some little buzz boxes on the road, we can actually bet some of these guys in the 8cylinder loud machines............

away from calder park and that night... how would you guys feel about a westside honda meet and great + mini cruise ( maybe). all the meets i manage to get to are over on the east side.... they are good but way too far... who would be interested?

hmm i've never ever been to the drags before. i might just tag along - curious.

do i have to pay to spectate?

as a driver, what do you need to bring? helmet? etc etc? fill me in :P

very interested in west side meet, i have organised a few, and posted the last one on here to geelong smorgies, i was disapointed that not many honda's showed up, it was an open cruze and had a 34 car turn out.
if you organise a west side one, count me in.

spectating at calder is $30 and parking inside is $10 and racing is $40, so if your gonna come and watch and park inside you might as well pay the extra $10 dollars and get a number on your car and race.
(or just get the number and cruze to chapel street and look like you have a tuff car with a number on it.......lol)

race requirements:
approved helmet (has the little red sticker on it)
long sleev top, pants of some sort and closed shoes.
