    Injectors

If i was planning on turboing my car, is all i need these 550cc injectors (they are suitable for my application)

    http://www.rceng.com/Saturated-Injec...top-P60C6.aspx

I'll assume thats the price for 1 injector. Which would equal $450 total (seeing thats US). Its just that i always see people saying i payed $650 for my 550cc injectors, or huge prices like that, same brand.

I'm not planning on to turbo my car anytime soon, it would be in the distant future, but just working things out now, because i plan on a custom kit.

If its for a stock motor 550 is more then enough, even 440cc will work.

Im just telling you, if you're going to just bolt on a turbo kit onto the stock motor in the future, 440 is more then enough.

    Question was mainly,

People always write stuff like like "$600 - $650 (different posts vary) for 550cc injectors" in their turbo pricing list, when the site says $98 USD roughly per injector, which would make x4 550 cc injectors cost around $450 AUS.

Is their something extra making them cost $650, compared to that $450, or are people just buying them from the wrong place?

In short though. You need saturated injectors and its generally a simple swap. Some injectors (depending on the brand) the body or the rubbers they sit in need modifications to fit. Also 'some' injectors come with the older plugs in which you'll need to cut off the old ones and solder on the new ones.

So yeh, pretty much just install and your done, but as said some may come with older style clips.

    Hope that helps.
    Deano.
