man if i was u, as FstFwd said. Kep it as a starter kit and start replacing stuff as you go alonng. you can always send the turbo to get garrett internals, or jsut buy a new turbo.

you can get the manifold rienforced etc. this is you will be using double you money lol.

i have been researching parts for months now and am building a custom kit to suit what i want cost and power wise. good luck though

    car still hasn't been tuned,
but will be this wednesday coming up..
been hitting boost daily though n everything seems fine for now.. hehehe

i jumped straight to conclusions when i found out all the negative comments about the turbo kit but its actually holding up alright... so, my bad..
the manifold is reinforced better than they were 2 yrs ago...

    so far so good..

    but for how long?

    hey

mate im wanting to go on the turbo route though i have limited funds.! and i want to noe how ur turbo kit off ebay is running now? are they worth it to buy so i can hit like 5psi of boost.. just an extra bit more power is all i need. and from there on i can swap the parts??

im wondering how much u have spent on it so far? and what does ur turbo kit inlcude and what else is needed to complete the conversion

    cheers
    hey buddy,

turbo kit is holding up fine.. not sure how my motor is though.. been driving around for 2 weeks now untuned hitting boost daily..
apparently i've heard its not good 4 my engine.. lmao

turbo kit is complete with everything u need to get it running.. had to get dump pipe cut n welded d right way cos it didnt fit properly but was a small issue..

here are my costs so far -

    turbo kit - $1200 (850 for kit & 350 for welding)
    310cc injectors - $100
    power fc - $800
    tuning - $600
miscellaneous - $300 (dont know what i bought but d money aint in my pocket)
    total to date - $3000+

as u can see so far.. its not really cheap as i thought it would be.. more costs keeps adding on.. its crazy dude.. lol

but its been fun driving around..
    running 6psi atm
i have 2 wait 4 my injectors 2 come before tuning..

its been stressful, but im hoping it'll be worth it in d end..

prob need a new d16 motor soon as well.. hehehe
    -$400

all the stuff i bought is credit card friendly
    -2 months interest free- hehehe

    hope dat helps
