    Overhead Monitors

Today, parents just purchased a new car today NOT hahah a Lexus RX400h. To satisfy my sister, they are planning to add the overhead monitor, to get the tv and dad player going.

just wonderin if anyone can recommend me a workshop on where i can get it done, because it is 100% new, want to visit a reliable workshop to get it done.

also which monitors are good? thinking of the Alpine at the moment, got suggestions or comments??

    Thanks guys

Anything Alpine is usually of excellent quality. I'd be checking out a working samples of different screens as picture quality really does differ from brand to brand - not always depending on price!

I'd be looking at specs such as resolution, what file formats it accepts and the sound channel processing capabilities for surround sound. Try to check out the on-screen menu system and remote control aswell for functionality and ease-of-use.

Make sure it comes with warranty and you should be set!

I would be taking it somewhere that deals mainly in audio/visual equipment and installations, rather than somewhere that does 'a bit of everything' like Autobarn (for example).

I'd be more satisfied that a true audio/visual company will do a more professional job on the installation as this is where their sole business comes from and is their supposed specialty.

On the other hand i'm sure a Lexus dealership would do as good, if not a better job, as they would have information and experience to remove the necessary trims etc to install the unit. They'd also guarantee their work I would assume.

    Something to think about anyway
