    Hi guys,

I'm very pleased with the fuel consumption of my Luxury Auto.
Lowest consumption 6.9l only freeway on 100-110km/h. I do this trip on a regular basis (to and from airport 90km) and the consumption is always between 6.9-7.1.

Highest consumption 10.1l mainly city driving with aircon on.

Average consumption between 8.5 and 9.4

    I drive 60% highway/freeway and 40% city.

ah, he wonders of accord fuel tanks . Fuel gauge is an approximate only, so from F-1/2 - needle moves nice and slowly, from 1/2-E - needle moves very quick. I think this has been explained in more detail before.

Don't worry, our tank only holds 65 ltrs.

i think car makers do that deliberately just to make ppl think there cars are more fuel efficient.. only after reaching the bottom half it rushes down! argh! oh well, at least it's been confirmed it not only my car

It's because the tank is not perfectly symmetrical in the vertical axis and that the fuel level sensor is a linear type. For my car, between max fill to the "F" indicator, it's 70-100km. Then each quarter of the gauge is 100km. Then at the bottom when the light comes on, it's another 70-100km. (city driving btw)

yeah i got about the same. 100km from full to the "F" (if i drive sensibly) and then 150km for each quarter onwards...i never take it below "E" max ive ever put into the tank in one go was 58Ls before the gun clicked off

Bondi junction westfield ftw! I miss that place. It's like an asian car park where everyone is fighting for a spot.

All Westfields are a joke to find a spot to park your car.
